Threat and Safety

This was my first truly interdisciplinary study. I remember finishing the research phase, 8 “portals” summarising research in different fields, and feeling - “Wow. I’ve really done something amazing here.”

Again, at this point in my process, the work was very intellectual, and the breadth of work may been more inspired by fears of inadequacy rather than the desire to provide the best service.

Nonetheless, it was a tremendous introduction to topics ranging from physiology to philosophy and psychology. The experience raised the bar on what I believed I was capable of understanding and communicating.
